Bibi is op zoek naar een kameraadje. Misschien weet Danie van de dierenwinkel een vriendje voor haar? Ze mag een kijkje nemen in zijn winkel en ziet daar heel vreemde dieren, zoals: Meneer Piep de reuzenrat, Ella de dansende vogel en Stuiter het stuiterende, hyperactieve konijn. Ze vindt hen wel bijzonder, maar wil eigenlijk vooral spélen!

Danie heeft een wel hèèl aparte dierenspeciaalzaak! In zijn etalage bevinden zich geen kanaries of parkieten, maar exotische wezens zoals een reuzenrat (niet -rad!) met de naam: 'Meneer Piep', de dansende vogel Ella, en een hyperactief konijn, 'Stuiter' genaamd.
